Fiskars 1052043 Solid A26 Splitting Axe 2.5kg (5.5lb)

Very capable

I’ve always bought Fiskars tools for design and quality, and this is no exception. The common ‘Teflon’ coating on the surface of the axe reduces sticking significantly. Comes with a protective clip on head guard. The shaft is hollow, which I didn’t expect, but not to the detriment of its performance. Very nice balance, right weight for splitting trunks up to 16” diameter and depth!

Perfect length for vacuuming up a set of steps.

Perfect quality. Just that extra length means I can vacuum higher up without holding onto Henry at the same time!

Great quality

I love Bahco tools, they are more expensive than the usual known brands, but you know the difference when you use them. Even the plastic case snaps together solidly and is a delight to open up. The ratchet spanner has a bit removal button, which makes it much easier to change bits (I’ll never forget the day I smacked myself in the eye with a cheap spanner!
