506g it's a lot of kit for the money
If your thinking of buying one of these then chances are you have either a jxd 509 or 510, that's what led me on to a 506g. This is a lot of quadcopter for the money but I strongly advise anyone who buys one to check positioning of both the 2.4g antenna's before flying outside. I didn't with my first one, which lost all contact with the controller (transmitter) at about 30ft, never to be seen again.
You have to take into consideration that this is not high end money and with a couple of simple mods, can perform very well.
First thing I did was remove the top cover, using a magnetized screwdriver will help a lot. Remove all visible screws from underneath, then remove the two screws of each LED cover, you do not have to unplug the LED's if you don't want to. This will give you access to a couple of screws in the LED/motor housing, undo these.
You can remove top cover now and position the antenna through the underbody of the quad (after making a suitable hole).
Check position of antenna in the transmitter also and if not in correct place gently pull into position in the antenna mount. Be careful when removing the back of the transmitter so as not to dislodge the battery connections.
This simple to do, slight modification will improve range considerably.
A better way of course would be to swap out the antenna's for better quality one's, but, if like me, you find soldering a pain, just doing the above, should be of help.
Before I go, I thought I'd mention an issue that can happen with some altitude hold quads, particularly at the lower end of the price scale, they can gain hight, without pilot input.
A fix for this seems to be fitting a flight controller or barometer damppening gymble, these are cheap and simple to install, I'll be trying one on the 506 and will review my findings after fitting it.
Hope this is helpful and not to rambling.
Happy flying

great build quality, all in one kit
The great thing about this is it's all there, if you need to replace this particular piece of pipe work, you would be hunting around for the gasket and then doing it all over again for the hex bolt's, no need, as I said, it's all there and faultless quality in nice shinny stainless steel, all at a great price.

works perfectly
1 of 1 found this helpful Good consistency. Shake can really well, for at least 2mins, go over area 2 or 3 times building up layers, after an hour or so do it again, gets into all the little nooks an crannies.
Leave overnight.
I can will do x2 large wheel arches. (gives an idea of area covered)
Under £10 pounds, all four corners undersealed.
Blilliant.
