It is what it is
I wanted something small and portable and cheap and this fits the bill.
There's some small movement in wind and it is easy to unscrew the legs too far but it all fits back together simply enough and does the job, albeit in an unspectacular way.
I've seen some better designs but you're paying twice the price for them and the flexibility to use it as a mono is really good too.
I'd definitely recommend it for the casual user

Decent but pricey
This is a decent product, very easy to fit and convenient to use, easy enough to clip on and off the base plate.
I did buy another, larger, unbranded box for about £35 and there isn't much difference in the feel of quality in terms of materials and locking, although the Givi is a more convenient design.
I'm happy, not looking for anything else, but it feels like it should have been half the price. Pick one up for £50-60 and you're laughing

Does the job
1 of 2 found this helpful Don't let the people in Maplin tell you VGA to HDMI doesn't work and you need £50 worth of converter kit, this connects my projector to my new laptop with excellent quality and has an output to the stereo for sound too.
Very happy.
