NYS Canals
I bought this book while planning a unit about the Erie Canal. I was looking for something that would provide the information I wanted and in an easy to read form that my students could read. This book was perfect. About 1/4 of the book has to do with the Erie, the remainder goes into "feeder" canals. I like how a history of all the canals in NY state are provided, with quite a few details and many pictures. Overall it is well put together. It is an easy read and is a great resource to get started on research about canals.

clean and flawless
kiddos are currently obsessed with this show (long since discontinued) and needed the Sherrif and her trusty horse. I feel that it looks as if I were to have plucked it off the store shelf myself. It is clean and looks brand new.
