Reasonable price, good design with notch on top for creating obstacles
The notches in the top are useful for creating an obstacle by placing a stick between two cones (e.g. for hockey), so that's an extra function for the same price as cones with a simple round hole on the top. Diameter and height - fine for practicing hockey skills.

Compact, succinct, good value identification guide
1 of 1 found this helpful My seven-year-old son has been studying rocks and minerals at school and he wanted a book to help him identify different types of rock. This is just what we were looking for, considering the compactness, low price, neat dimensions and lots of high quality photos. Since it's a "pocket" identification guide, the information is short and succinct, with Top Trumps-style ratings (for hardness etc.) and a short description for each rock/mineral, so he can read it without too much input from me.
There are no gaudy graphics or long, wordy paragraphs, this book lets the facts do the talking.
Downsides: would have been nice if it had included a few more minerals/rocks, as there are are some less common ones that we couldn't find in the index (there's at least one wrong page number in the index by the way), but there are many thousands of rarer minerals/rocks and this book still covers a pretty big selection overall. Definitely one of my best book purchases.

Decent quality, matched my lock space's exact specifications
