Present..... Arms!
Command sets for 1/72 scale are rare within the standard infantry sets so these are a real boon. Released this year these will be a great addition to your existing line units which have been crying out for standard bearers, Sappers and officers. There are plenty of spare parts so you can change the heads and sword arms. Although there are some small faults amongst these figures at 1/72 scale you can't complain so highly recommended.

Cook me a Schnitzel
This is a rather lovely set as there isn't a lot of plastic 1/72 scale Austrian around considering they played a major part in the Napoleonic wars fighting Napoleon across many years so there should be more effort put in in producing more Austrian sets. The plastic is very soft and as I mount my cavalrymen on a pin for priming and painting they take the pin perfectly unlike some plastics where I have to use a dab of superglue. There are better figures around, Italeri and Zvezda, but these
are perfectly acceptable and a very nice set. Only a couple of complaints, the gun carriage is too wide as it would look great with some gunners atop the seat and that is my other complaint, where are the gunners? You could use the HaT Austrian artillery gunners if you wanted to use the guns, which are howitzers, as a battery but HaT could have added some dismounted gunners to produce an excellent set that Zvezda are at the top of the game for artillery. You could also swap the Howitzer gun for cannons so conversions are possible. All in all a very good set and a great addition to my ever expanding Austrian 1/72 army.
