Overscale wood strip and detail lets it down
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a good model if used as a basis for building a more accurate scale replica of a steamboat because the wood strip supplied is way over scale (e.g. the handrails would scale up to 6" thick!) and the chains for lifting the gangplank would be big enough to anchor the Ark Royal, so you will have to buy some better materiel if you want to improve the 'toylike' effect of the model. Apart from that, it's OK and worth the money.

Sharp and light.
Excellent scissors for more than just needlework or sewing. I got them to make paper models and they are perfect.
