A keeper!
Never have been able to get a compressor that I like until this one . My experience has been they've been too noisy when engaged, without enough 'wow' factor, or payoff, to make it worth having to deal with that. This one has very low noise-to-effect ratio; adjustable 'mix' for just the right amount of effect. I often use it when soloing, ala David Gilmour, and it does add some sustain to my fuzz and overdrive effects, even at more tame volumes. Headroom to spare when running it at 12-15 volts with my PP2. Of course there is some noise when I have it on with these 'dirt' effects, but it's unlike any other compressor I have used; it's not unmanageable noise! Had it for a week or two now, and have been enjoying it alot. Worth checking out, even if you are not a compressor guy. Might make a believer out of you . It did me!

Long lasting w/o breakage and good sound
Aside from the inflated per-set price, these strings sound great, stay in tune well and break very, very rarely. I dig in pretty strongly when I play, and can break strings… usually not the first gig night, but the second or third are suspect… So I’ll change strings every second or third gig, say, just for peace of mind. That is expensive and a time drag during a busy gig stretch, but there is nothing worse than breaking a string during performance. These strings I measure changing them in weeks rather than gigs; between 3and 4 weeks these will last without string breakage. A month passes, they sound a little dull, then I change them and I’m back on kings row for another month. Recommended!

Great inexpensive option for a classic design
Great Ace replica strap for a great price from D’Andrea. Purchased for a “peace and love” themed gig and it functioned perfectly. Have used several times and it seems well constructed, but don’t know yet if it will last as long as the vintage ones did. I’ve had several of these Ace replica straps that the stitching seemed to have prematurely frayed, but so far this one is holding up great.
