Tamron SP 17-50 f2.8 XR DiII DX Nikon Mount

This is a very sharp lens. Let’s start with that. Build quality is good, constant 2.8 max aperture, rather quick focusing, compact, good focal zoom range for a walk around lens. Takes 67mm filters. Even shooting into a bright scene with sun, it does nicely. All in all a good buy 👍🏻

Lowepro S&F Slim Lens Pouch AW

Like all Lowepro products well designed & built. I’m actually using this to hold a small Nikon SB-15 flash unit, with the pouch attached to a Lowepro Stealth 300 AW camera bag, with another Lowepro Film Organizer AW pouch on the opposite end of the bag. These pouches free up a lot of interior room in the bag which contains 2 SLR bodies and 6 lenses, along with filters, cleaning supplies, spare batteries, etc. So you might say this nice Slim Lens Pouch 55 AW completes the kit. Now to go photograph !

Nikon 50mm f1.8 AF D Lens Review

The Nikon 50mm f1.8 AF D lens is quite a bargain. Very sharp, uses 52mm filters, compact and light. AF function is fast, manual focus is smooth. Gives you a “normal” perspective and look. It’s lightly built, so don’t knock it around too much and it will treat you well. Like others have stated, “the best Nikon lens for under $100...”
