Skywolfeye Cree 3500 LM LED Flashlight

This light lives up to expectations for a small, lightweight unit. The head is easily movable for adjusting the beam size, and, with a little practice, the end-cap switch readily controls the brightness and strobe effect. It works well in low and no light firearms drills and is blinding, particularly in strobe mode, when pointed in the face . The advertised max brightness is based on using one 18650 (3.7 volt) battery. However, it is brighter using two CR123A (3.0 volt) batteries, which may or may not burn out the circuitry sooner. Please note I have no way to accurately measure the brightness of the light produced by either power source.

Short UHF/VHF Antenna Performance

This antenna works well on both VHF and UHF when mounted on the vehicle's roof due to the added height, particularly on a SUV or RV. When mounted on the trunk lid/rear deck lid or fender, it has basic quarter wave performance on receive for both, and VHF transmit, and only a marginally increased performance on UHF transmit. As with most quarter wave style antennas, it can be trimmed some to frequencies used.
