    Sega Game Gear
    20 Jul, 2016
    The Colour Game Gear
One of the very first colour LCD's available for a hand held console. It is very easy to use and with 196 games to play, it will keep you happy for many hours! Also with no region lock, you can add to this catalogue. So it will play any game from Japan and the USA. Expand even further with the Game Gear converter to play all Sega Master System games! Made from 1990 in Japan and 1991 in the UK, it lasted until 1996 and is still has a massive following today. From the basic grey coloured case, to the collector white version it can be a great hobby to get into. Over 11 Million were made in it's lifespan, so there is a Game Gear near you! This great little console has also just got an extra lease of life due to a LCD upgrade, that is high quality and up to the standards of modern LCD's. So never throw away a Game Gear, it can be saved! Play time is only restricted by battery life, but again with modern rechargeable types this is not as bad as it was when new. One big advantage it has now is that can be bought from under £10 working, and with a little restoration it will last another lifetime. So don't pass over this great console, it entertained a generation, and it will keep entertaining.
