Full featured phone in great quality hardware for great price
The OnePlus One has been a great purchase. It's their first attempt at a smartphone and it's quite impressive at that. The hardware of the device is solid; it feels sturdy and well-built in hand and has some weight to it (which is a drawback if you want lightweight). But the benefit of the weight is the way that it's built, strong and robust with no chinsy feel. The Cyanogen and Oxygen OS options are the shining feature of the device, allowing full customization of your Android experience. It really feels like a developer's device (which can be a negative if you aren't at least a bit savvy), but the benefit again is the fact that you are in control of the experience and user interface. You choose how you want the device setup, a far cry from Apple and even Samsung or Sony. Really fantastic value for money and an incredible effort for a startup manufacturer.
