Wish I had bought one years ago.
This is a sturdy well made tool. It has a one piece handle with reinforced T-piece. The whole thing has a thick coating. Not sure what it is but it could be powder coat. Anyway the whole thing reeks of quality. The only thing I'm not sure about is where the spindle attaches to the main body with those push-on fittings. I would prefer a traditional locking nut in case I ever need to separate the pieces for cleaning etc. We'll have to wait and see on that one.
Anyway, using it is a breeze compared to other methods I have used in the past. I used it in near perfect conditions (borderline waterlogged) and covered both my lawns twice in around 25 minutes. That's around 100 square meters twice. It's not effortless though and I did work up a sweat, but the time saving alone makes this well worth the outlay.
Too early to see any results yet but I would strongly recommend this tool for any keen amateur such as myself.
