Tripod mount screw fell out, but there was an easy permanent fix
2 of 2 found this helpful The first time I put a camera on it, I ended up holding the camera in my hand and the monopod fell over. when I looked at the bottom of the camera, the stud tripod mount screw was in the camera and only finger tight. I bought a $.69 double ended stud and tapped the hole in the monopod (which was smooth). It was about a 20 minute job and it is now better than new. I have used it dozens of times now and it works fine.
