A bargain !

I'd always avoided buying a Dyson cleaner before, not on reputation but on price, I just felt that, like Iphones, they were way too expensive for the job they did. But the Dyson outlet store brings the price down to a reasonable level, so I thought I would bite the bullet. The cleaner arrived the day after ordering which was a good start, in a proper Dyson box. After reading other reviews I was expecting to see some signs of the cleaner having been used before, but it was absolutely immaculate. It came with a full complement of tools, some of which I will probably never use. It was a bit tricky working out how some of the bits went together, and written instructions to back up the diagrams would have been a help, but it didn't take that long to work it all out. the cleaner is a joy to use. The length of the power cord means that I can clean the whole flat from one outlet. The tools are very easy to change and the main tube extends for easy cleaning of high places. The suction is very good, I had cleaned my carpet with my old cleaner 2 days before, and I couldn't believe the amount of dust the cleaner picked up after just 5 minutes hoovering. Emptying is very easy, can't understand why some people seem to have trouble with it. The only negatives are the power and cord rewind buttons which seem a bit flimsy, as does the tube parking slot. Also some kind of socket to insert the plug when it is fully rewound would be nice but other than that, a brilliant cleaner.
