HELP THE BUTTERFLIES

we enjoyed last years experience so much that we bought this as a present - so hopefully the word is spread and the butterflies helped. Last year we were successfull with all five butterfies, being able to observe all stages of metamorphosis at close first hand - brilliant.

Pretty much does what it says on the cover "artists in Britain since 1945"

This is a well written dictionary of artists and therefore not a good read. With the exception of more local publications, this is the first offering that looks at the much under researched period of artists from 1945. Be very clear there are no picture plates to relate to the text. But it is in my opinion a good reference book for someone who deals in art or has a hobby investigating/researching art

A good read it is not - it is a dictionary!

The content cannot be classed as compelling, or thought provoking. It quite simply is what it says it is - a dictionary of artists. The book is ideally suited to a researcher or dealer in paintings. I have found info on artists when there is no iformation at all on the web, and i am happy with the book.
