It Works !
I have UV filtration which deals with the green water problem but blanket weed was taking over the pond, I tried natural additives, chemicals and barley straw, all had some effect in the short term but none got to grips with the weed and it would soon multiply.
Having found an article on the Velda device I decided to try it, had a few teething problems and I had some issues with current flow across the anode, however with assistance from the supplier it was up and working.
Worth noting that snails do not like the copper particles in the water and will gather on the water line, (I hooked them out and transferred them to another pond). But the great news is the blanket weed doesn't like it either, within a week it had stopped spreading, then started reducing until finally I have no blanket weed in my pond !
Definitely recommended !
