AU 6P3P Class A Single-End Tube Audio Vacuum Power Amplifier HiFi Amp Set DIY

excellent kit for the experienced

I had to modify this amp with 2 things-replace the tube rectifier with 1n4007 diodes and 100ohm resistor to lower the extra volts to 325V the tube rectifier uses 10W of power which causes the power transformer to run hot after 1 hour. next thing I did was increase the negative feedback so the gain is lowered to 6.5 to lower the distortion and quiet the hum. the amp now sounds very nice and clear. I wouldn't run this amp for more than 4hours as the power transformer gets hot.this is a great kit for the money but you will need electronics knowledge to build and mod. I am very happy with this kit.

ok but in mono sound

its okay but its a rudy van gelder edition in lowfi mono. i will lookout for the original stereo release which sounds fantastic
