Well constructed and good features for the price
2 of 2 found this helpful The Powerfly does the job. I had circulation problems in the foot leaving it slightly swollen and numb. The Powerfly did have a beneficial effect very quickly after a few used. You can feel the "tingle" in the muscles due to the gentle electric pulses. Mine was sent without instructions so I had a few problems trying to set it up for use without them although a lot of it was fairly obvious. I was unable to get instructions from the internet so contacted the supplier who were very friendly and quickly sent a set of instructions. Two comments on the operation of the machine. The auto button on the remote turns the auto off not on if you press it...a bit counter intuitive! & set up the machine before you put your feet on it as I found it could give a "strong" unexpected pulse when I attempted to set it up with feet on. This caused quite a jolt and resulted in the calf muscles to contract suddenly and uncomfortably. A HINT - the display between the heels seems to indicate the strength of the pulses for a chosen program. Start with a program that gives gentle stimulation and work your way up. You want a gentle tingle to get the benefit in my experience but don't need to feel uncomfortable. It did help my condition but if you have very serious numbness in the feet seek medical advice before you purchase the machine.

Simple but functional
0 of 1 found this helpful For someone wanting a wireless alarm system which is simple to install this does the job. The two "smoke alarm" lookalike units work as described however as they work by detecting body heat be aware that they can be triggered if mounted near a radiator and the heating system comes on so choose their location with that in mind. The window mounted vibration sensors have a high and low setting but do seem a little insensitve even on the high setting. I am sure they would work if someone tried to break a window to get into the house but am not prepared to try that test on my lounge window!
They seem reasonable quality for the price so are a good alternative to an expensive wired/installed system.

Staying warm this winter
2 of 2 found this helpful This heated throwover is comfortable and warms up quickly on the higher settings. The timing function is also useful as it allows you to control how long it stays warm before switching off and is therefore good if you fall asleep when it is on. The only drawback I have found is if you use the throwover in a cold room it will not maintain its temperature and does have to be covered with another blanket to avoid heat loss.
