The cap fits!
It is exactly as ordered. It is a small cap in black, together with a rubber ring. When you put a battery into the back of the watch, this cap then goes over the battery and by turning the cap it locks the battery in place. Turning the cap is facilitated by a slot sited diametrically, and large enough to take a coin such as a 20p in the UK. This removes the need for a screwdriver and thus enhances convenience. The product arrives in a plastic bag and already has the rubber ring installed on the cap. The problem with such a cap is that if an inappropriate coin or screwdriver is used to turn the cap, it can hamper the turning of the cap, and in extreme cases render it unusable. That is what happened in my case. In such a situation the watch is unusable unless a new cap is sourced - which is why I bought this product. Incidentally, the rubber ring is very important to prevent the ingress of water or dust, etc.
