Easy to apply, soaks in well, feet dry again.
1 of 1 found this helpful The wax was easy to apply, was absorbed into the boot well.
I gave my old neglected boots four sparingly thin coats over the course of a week, went a bit heavier on the stitching.
I let them sit a day between coats, lightly buffing before applying the next.
The water just runs off them now.
I've pre-treated my new boots as well.
Note, my old boots are now slightly darker in colour, but who cares. My feet ate dry and the leather is fed and supple.
Going to do my bush hat next.

Second favourite kitchen gadget.
Never having used a slow cooker before I was a bit lost when it arrived on the doorstep. It came with clear instructions and some recipe ideas. After some additional research on Internet it was time to get cooking (slowly). The first attempt was a chicken casserole, this turned out better than I expected and was enjoyed by the family. I have been using the cooker about twice a week and results have been excellent. The timer facility is great, I can throw the ingredients in before I go to work, set the timer and when I get home dinner is ready. The cooker is a bit oversized for our needs and I find myself freezing meals for future use. If I was buying a slow cooker again I would go for a 3.5 or 5 litre pot. In short, I love the cooker, wish I had got one years ago. Just to put you out of your misery, my favourite kitchen gadget is my Andrew James halogen oven with the hinged lid. Between the two cookers I have hardly used my conventional oven at all.
For healthy, hearty food, I can't recommend this cooker highly enough. (Stovies like my Mammy used to make).
