Perfect substitute of live food; fishes love it!

This product if really great for all fishes of small to medium size (that is anything from guppy fry to large guppy / fully grown neon tetra). It lasts long time in the fridge after opening (up to 6 weeks) and one package contains quite a lot of feed. Fishes love it. It has no drawbacks of live food but seems to come close it. Highly recommend it.

Simple, quick and cost efficient way to test the water in your fish tank

This product is really simple to use - just dip the test strip into your water for a few seconds, take it out and hold for about 1 minute then compare the colors with the reading chart. Reading chart is on the side of the container. The nominal values for the important parameters are also clearly marked to help alerting about any possible problems. There is quite a lot of test strips included so it should last for some time. One thing to keep in mind is that the test is color based and therefore it should be conducted in white-light conditions, e.g. daylight or with cool-white LED lighting. Especially the ammonia test may be troublesome under typical warm-white light of incandescent bulb or warm-white energy efficient bulbs. The only drawback with the test - and it is a really small one at that - is the size of the packaging that will not fit most of the letter boxes forcing the buyer to pick the item up from depot if missed delivery. But that is true of many many products on the market today as the manufacturers do not seem to realize the need for small, flat packaging that is post-friendly.
