Works as Advertised
This battery is about 2/3 the physical depth of the OEM battery supplied with a new Mule 4x4. The Mule battery compartment easily accommodates the Caltric AGM replacement battery, but it would be wise to use a piece of wood 2x4 as a spacer and some plastic shim material to provide firm contact between the 2x4 spacer and the back battery mount threaded hook (Mule 4x4 4010 model).
The longer term durability of this battery when used in the Mule 4x4 is yet to be determined. The original battery lasted three years with a solar trickle charger connected when not in use. It's best to have at least some form of trickle charge for the battery because of the residual load placed upon it by internal Kawasaki components even when the Mule is not operating.
