This device has a range of useful functions, comes with a clip on mic and gives a reliable and consistent readout. Batteries included. Quite sturdy casing; bright orange so you can find it easily. Useful range of chords accessible, displayed on clear grid with backlighting.

Hotshot best for wound dressings.
Friars Balsam has been used for over a century to treat wounds. Known as "hotshot" in the first world war. Commercial and health service alternatives (wipes etc) are now made with aqueous solutions and leave the wound wet, so dressings won't stick to the skin. A wipe-over with FB cleans the skin, is antiseptic, and soothes any irritation. It leaves a dry sticky layer that the adhesive dressing sticks to very securely.
