A TRUE MASTERPIECE RECORDING !

This recording of Nabucco with Elena Suliotis is by far one of those very rare instances where everything comes together in one moment and is just about PERFECT. The sound is overwhelmingly melodic and Ms. Suliotis is at her very best with a flexible voice and sound that takes you on a real operatic musical ride. Her recordings are among some of the most difficult to locate let alone to be able to afford.

I AM IMPRESSED !

SO FAR SO VERY GOOD, BUT I PURCHASED AN "A" GRADE REFURBISHED UNIT WITH A 90 WARRANTY. I AM HOPE IT FUNCTIONS BEYOND THE 90 DAYS. HONESTLY, I AM VERY SURPRISED BY THE CHROMEBOOK CONSIDERING IT'S CONFIGURATION. IT IS MUCH MUCH FASTER THAN I COULD CONCIEVE {WHICH IS NOT SURPRISING AS I AM NOT TECH SAVY USER}. PUSH THE BUTTON, AND IT GOES. TO ME, THE BATTERY LIFE IS PHENOMIAL. I PAIRED IT WITH A 256G SDHC MEMORY CARD. I PURCHASED THIS UNIT TO TRAVEL WITH BECAUSE OF WEIGHT AND SIZE. IT DOES NOT REPLACE MY 14 INCH ASUS LAPTOP BUT IS USED TO AUGMENT IT. WHEN IAM ON THE ROAD, I AM GONE 2 - 4 WEEKS. I TRAVEL AS LIGHT AS POSSIBLE {NO SUITS, NO CHECKED BAGS - IN AND OUT HOTELS AND PLANES ASAP AS REQUIRED.

A BIT OF A SLEEPER !

I HBAD NEVER BEEN EXPOSED TO THIS OPERA BEFORE SEEING THE RENATO BRUSON RECORDING. THE OPERA IS NOT ONE THAT MANY KNOW OF, BUT IT IS A FINE OPERA WITH BEAUTIFUL MUSIC AND BRUSON'S PERFORMANCE IS VERY SUBTLE BUT ESPRESSES FULLY THE GRIEF OF A FATHER LOSING HIS SON, THIS RECORDING IS QUITE CLEAR CONSIDERING THE RECORDING TECHNOLOGY OF ITALY IN THE 1980S. PARTICULARLY RECOCMENDED FOR SERIOUS VERDI FANS WHO ARE COMPILING EXHAUSTVE AND COMPLETE DISCOGRAPHRIES OF VERDIS WORKS.
