Junked in 10 minutes
0 of 1 found this helpful Now I must firstly say this is my personal findings on the one I received.
It works --- but I can not use it. The top edges that make up the press buttons protrude over the sides and pressed into my thumb and middle finger and within a few minutes the nerves in them were painful. Even after a few days the pain is still there in the nerves. It is so flat there is was no other way to hold it. It was a case of toss it in the junk drawer or wear a rigger glove on my hand to use it.

There are hours of reading in this book and there is also good diagrames and some pictures.
I would recommend any one wanting this book to buy a hard back copy.
I bought the paperback copy and it will most likely be falling to bits before I get to the end.
The paperback version is tightly bound and will have to be "stressed" to get access to the diagrams and maps.
If it does fall apart I will purchase a hard back copy for my library and keep this one for the illistrations.
There are very cheap copies to be had on E Bay.

A book to go back to again and again.
Firstly a word of warning , this book will make you green with envy. It shows a number of layouts and also includes a few "step by step" guides on , for example , how to build the village inn from a simple plastic kit. But of course being a book that shows what can be achieved by hours and hours of hard work the village inn is not simply "stuck together" and plonked into place. It is fitted our with floors , fittings , furniture and people. This is not to put anyone off buying it , it shows what can be done and if you are someone who is looking to construct your own layout it is both helpful and challenging but if you just like looking it is also worth it as the pictures are works of art in themselves.
