handles at wrong angle
I have previously had crutches with ergonomic handles that spread the weight over all of your hands. However the angle at which these handles are set means that a lot of the weight is going down your thumb and you cannot truly put all your weight on them, as your hand then slips off them. I already have de Quervains tenosynovitis and these crutches are very difficult for me to use, so have really been a waste of money. Unfortunately having used them I cannot return them.
They are good inasmuch as all the parts are metal, so stronger than others where the top part of the stick below the elbow support is plastic and bends when a lot of weight is put on the crutches. This was the main reason for purchasing them, as I thought they would be stronger.
