Not safe for use in Australia
This is just a two pin plug even though it shows three pins on the photo. There is no earth so it is unsafe to use in Australia for items that require an earth. It does not meet Australian standards for plugs so it is not lawful to sell in Australia. Caveat emptor.

Another thing that is great for USA, crippled for Oz

However, it is just a glorified talking alarm clock with some nice banter about the weather and driving times. Why do we in Australia get screwed with higher prices and less functionality?

Should have bought something better
It looks ugly and there's nothing I can do about it. I should have paid more and got something custom designed. My projector is a top of the line unit that costs $3,000 so it was foolish of me to think I could get away with something that cost so little for the bracket. It wasn't long enough so I have to buy two. There is a whole gap on one side that you can't cover up so it looks like a big gash. It's my faulty really. I should have guessed it would be cheap looking.
