Excellent cameras. I compare against 3000tvl Floureon & 3mp Swann T858
1 of 1 found this helpful We run mainly Swann Dvr8 4750's but also Floureon with 3000tvl cameras & now this Zosi with these 3000tvl cameras.
These & Floureon are1080p (2mp) swann boast 3mp, But best ignore that 3mp figure as swann dvr8 4750 will only run 8fps at 3mp so jerky its best set at 1080 at 12fps, Floureon runs 12fps but this Zosi 25fps. However in reality there is very little difference on viewing on screens with either 52" TV or 22"led monitor when comparing 12fps & 25fps.
Daytime picture quality the Swann have brighter colours, the Zosi more natural colours Floureon lacking slightly behind, haven't quite got the crisp detail of the other two. However they are slightly cheaper.
Night time is when these Zosi cameras are really excellent. Despite a lower 2mp rating v Swanns 3mp these Zosi are far better. (See photo of Zosi camera on same dvr as a higher 3mp swann T858) The Zosi is the top image. There seems to be very little noise (fuzziness) on the Zosi they are outstanding.... the difference is really significant thus if your surveillance requires mostly night time recording these are hard to beat and the best 1080 cameras I have found. Note these are the 36IR led Zosi cameras not the same as the cameras with black ends which have 24IR leds. The floureons are slightly behind the Swanns but not by much (furthermore the floureons cost less than half the Swanns). In the photograph the two cameras use the same leads. Sit side by side and are recording simutainously.
The Zosi and floureon cameras have a slightly wider viewing angle than the swann, useful if you want to cover a wider area in tight areas.
Note. These cameras will work on the Swann dvr. In fact the floureons do too. Zosi work on the floureon dvr too. Thus you could add these cameras to other dvrs. So the Zosi and Floureon cameras work on any of the 3 dvrs.. Note however the swann 3mp T858 will not work on the other recorders. Presumably the cameras default to 3mp which the Zosi and floureon dvrs cant handle? Note. Using incorrect cameras may invalidate a dvr warranty however I have used these on a swann 4750 which warranty has already expired with no issues to date.
The user interface of the swann is better (more user friendly) than this Zosi, The Zosi and Floureon use a very similar interface. The swann has 16x search very useful to whizz through media, Zosi 4x Floureon 8x.
The Zosi remote app is also problematic with android, Floureon & swann both work very well.
Conclusion
Overall if it's night time surveillance you require the quality of the night time recording using these zosi cameras they are worth every penny. Add them to your existing system. They are equal to the Swanns in daylight too at significantly lower price.
The Floureon systems are slightly cheaper but I would definitely pay a little more to have these superb cameras added to a Floureon recorder! Or just use this Zosi. Only downside is remote viewing on Android devices but I'm sure Zosi will soon sort this if they haven't already.

Good quality.
These are well made with good quality connectors and not the usual cheap rubbish like I've often bought.
