Too much for too little
You can but toasters for much less and that perform much better than this one. After the first one or two uses, performance gradually worsened over the next few days so that ir was taking far too much time to produce a poor quality product---toast not evenly browned on both sides or, in some instances, toasted on only one side even when ser at the higher heat levels. I would ratye it even lower except that it looked good setting on my kitchen counter!
