Durst 1/8" Adjustable Angle Steam Radiator Vent Air Valve

It works but its is loud

It really makes a loud shrill noise as the steam vents. Not pleasant. I have mine completely closed until I find another solution. The overall manufacturing quality is not to good either (like the fact that the vent hole is facing inward so you can't see how far open it is.

You get what you pay for - buyer beware. Please read.

I managed to get the top on, only to find out that the trim edging around the bend in the windows was not sewn snugly to the roof material, and the roof now gets caught in the window when the door closes. I had to hand-sew that binding trim on both sides to make it so the windows don't get caught. As well, there is no channel in the rooftop for the cables - although it looks as if they meant to put one (the holes are there) the place where the channel should be is heat sealed, so the cables are visible and can't do their entire job. There are no instructions included. There is no way to connect the defrost window to the 1994 model as the adapter isn't included (just a couple of short, dangling wires. The material is thin compared to the more expensive roof that it replaced. There is no rain rail included. The top is on, and it looks pretty nice - too bad the roof gets caught in the windows as the door closes (even with my fancy stitching).
