Accurate
After first use, I found this performed well. Accurate, and importantly the bottom hook seems strong, enough to hold a 27kg luggage bag. Although the top ring seems strong also, it would be better if that were a little bigger (or a different shape?), as it's slightly difficult to grip when you have larger weights to suspend. If using for angling, I guess that wouldn't be such a problem.

Cheap build quality. For carry on luggage only.
You get what you pay for.
This standard of lock is only a
deterent really. And, that's what it was purchased as - for carry on luggage only.
The lock does actually function. But, has a rattlely feeling to it. As if one good knock, or bang going through checked luggage conveyors, and baggage handling will most probably see the very thin, steel cable tally with locking foot, ping open at some point in its journey. Plus, it does have access for a Customs skeleton key. So, if your checked baggage was selected for a search, this would need cutting off.
I wouldn't trust, nor recommended this for anything other than to keep a backpack pocket, or roller trolley case compartment zip from creeping open. That function, earns it 3 stars at least.

A simple, high quality, practical, and stylish time piece.
Extremely pleased with this watch.
Functionally, it's true I may rarely use the chono features available. But, as it was the overall face visibility, as well as colour I wished, the timer/ stopwatch features were just something that were part of the deal.
Although I do like the thick, quality contrasting hide strap on this Rotary patented 100m 'Dolphin Seal' waterproof watch, we will see how it weathers a sub-tropical rainy season? And, if a metal band would be more appropriate.
None the less, a beautiful, and classic piece from Rotary, that I expect to be wearing for a long time to come.
