  I have to be skeptical and think they canceled their auction due the fact that no one had else had bid on it. I understand the point of not wanting to sell an item when it doesn't reach a certain price. List it at the min you're happy with rather than 99cents. If it was out of stock it should've been removed way sooner than the end of the auction. If it was heavily damaged some direct messages to confirm if it was fine with me. Would've sufficed.
