The plastic carousel and bits in this kit are not worth the extra expense
1 of 1 found this helpful Good quality. The unit, motor, pedal, shaft, and bit chuck can be bought for under $100. All you get for the extra $187 (I paid $287 for this kit) is the plastic carousel and about 20 bits.

Good quality at a fair price
I've used cheap calipers and this one blows them away. Feels good in the hand. Solid construction. Functions perfectly every time. It came with a spare battery.
