Oh dear, thin metal...

I bought this for my daughter as she always coveted my small roasting stainless dish bought from that huge Swedish store. I didn't relish a pre-Christmas trudge around said store so I looked online for something similar and found this - I was more than happy to pay more for it to save me the trip. This dish arrived on time and well packaged, plus it had the nice addition of the rack. However, I could hear the base of it "bop" with just light finger pressure as I was unpacking it, making me realise it was made of thin metal and would be no good for roasting. (Heat in the oven makes thin roasting dishes "bop" up, splashing fat and oil all over the oven!) It'll possibly be ok for lasagnes or just as a serving dish. It was wrapped as an added present under the tree just before Christmas, and one could hear it bopping occasionally just with the underfloor heating coming on! So I told her it's just a temporary one until I get a free half a day to tackle the maze in that Swedish store...

Light between Oceans DVD

Delivery of actual DVD and picture quality were good. Sound was poor - I had to have the volume up high. As for the actual film, it was quite a good storyline, although a bit far fetched at times. Overall, reasonable value.
