It works, cheap, easy
Simple to fit - break off the old star washer with pliers, slide the new seal in place and push the new star washer on until it engages with the groove on the plunger. I softened the new leather washer with Vaseline before fitting. Worked as new.
I'd previously repaired with a synthetic seal which came which a whole replacement plunger. More expensive and only lasted 6 months before it split so I hope the leather does better.
Fits the dual fuel stove (424) as well as the North Star lantern (and probably everything else) and cheap and small enough to have one in the box just in case.
