Smart, good value bookcase.

If you get it cheap and it does the job then it's good value, but ....

The poor packaging that these arrived in told me what I was in store for. Everything about these roof bars feels and looks flimsy, poorly made and not to be trusted. First off I had a devil of a job getting any of the 4 identical keys to fit into any of the 4 identical locks on the ends of the roof bars. Even after forcing the keys into the locks, it was difficult to get the locking pieces off the ends of the bars. Only then could I see how poorly made everything is and how poor are the locking mechanisms. Fitting the bars to the roof rails is not that easy or quick - a big deterrent to taking them off when not in use .... and then one has to get those locking end bits back on again !! I would certainly not buy these again nor recommend them to anyone.
