Tight fit
Only draw back with using standard cables is that it is at extremely tight git to get the progressive wheel in, so the race wheel would fit at all.

Retro fitting BMW X3
Only comment I would make is buy this before you buy any other connectors. I bought a standard connector then needed this to get the steering controls working.
