not up to the job
2 of 2 found this helpful With hindsight, I would not have bought this.
Accuracy is poor, with a distinct lack of rigidity and slop in the joints. No better than careful handheld drilling.
Also the design means shorter drill bits (i.e typically smaller diameters) can barely reach the surface of the job. Longer, larger diameter drill bits are fine, but then the lack of rigidity becomes much more of an issue.
No way is it worth £30+. It has a reasonable quality chuck, but that's it. Save your money, don't buy it.

Highly recommended, particularly if you use a thinkpad.
I use a thinkpad laptop, and have the wireless keyboard/mouse dongle plugged into a USB port in my desktop monitor - so I can unhook the cables from the laptop and go.
The keyboard keys have a similar size and feel to thinkpad laptops, making the transition easier.
Laptop runs Ubuntu - no configuration or software to install - the dongle is recognised quickly.
