"Black comedy". . .well-worth watching from a cinematic point-of-view. . .
Great "comedy". . And, the "good guys" winning makes it even better! Sorry about the "spoiler" . . .however, the film stands on its merits!

Greeat coffee-maker!
Excellent coffee-maker! Why did Cuisinart stop making this model? I used my first DBG-900 for over 10 ears. . after buying it used in a thrift shop for a couple dollars! When it stopped working, I went shopping for another one. . .I began lloking at new models from Cuisinart. . .WITHOUT success! I tried at least three NEW models (after talking with Cuisinart people) attempting to find a comparable "grind & brew" machine. And, I returned each of them after a week or two, enclosing a detailed description of its faults and virtues. The company was at least willing to refund my money. One day, I happened to find an "old" Cuisinart on EBAY (for about the same amount of money as a new "failed" model. I was lucky enough to buy the unit on EBAY. . And, was sooo happy when I received a clean, well-taken care of model identical to my old one ! And, I am here. . telling you it works! The way it's supposed to; and, makes great coffee!

The Railway Man. . .
Fine acting. A beautiful job of writing. Excellent direction of an extremely difficult subject very seldom discussed: the treatment of POW's by the Japanese during WW II; and, the aftermath. . the terrible trauma endured AFTER the war by the POW's when they have gone back home. . .
