Nice Piece of Gear

Maybe not quite realistic- no transformer manufacturer would ever have shipped a transformer with bushings installed, but what the heck, it is the idea anyway. I'm setting up a switching station (electrical type) and this will fit right in along with the crane and cable spools, etc.

Different Use

I did not use this as a PC extension cable, but as a 6 pin "universal" data port cable for the new 6 pin ham radio data port interface. Works well at a fraction of the cost for a dedicated cable from one of the Ham radio companies! Glenn VE3NDW

Works well when extended- but be careful

Works very well- actually measured about 4.5 db gain, but be a bit cautious, the extended antenna puts quite a bit of load on the connector on your Ht. I have it in my go kit as a backup in case we have to go simplex, otherwise use the shorter antenna included in this package. Glenn VE3NDW.
