Bought all Irving Jensen Self Studies!!!
I used Irving Jensen's "self-study" on Joshua with my Precept Ministries Joshua course. It was an invaluable supplement to the inductive course. I was able to secure additional copies for my class and all 21 people thought the book was well worth the money. I’ve purchased his entire Self-Study series to incorporate with my bible study and incorporating his self-studies into our adult Christian education program.

GOOD TOOL FOR THE MONEY
For the money, it is a good OT word study, not extensive as TWBOT, or Kittle, but for a quick reference, it's o.k. Words are listed alphabetically (not by Strong’s #) and there a good description of the various types of verbs. It is just like using a Webster’s Dictionary, only for OT Hebrew words.

Updated Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
Just received the book yesterday and viewed it quickly. While the book is organized in the order of the books of the NT, (chapter by chapter / vs. by vs. where appropriate), there is an index in the back of the book which cross-references scriptures with other scriptures, just like the Treasury of Scripture knowledge except that the NT references has the background setting and hermeneutics. I would highly recommend this book if you are studying the NT and need the background references to the OT.
