strong lightweight and pre loaded with 10lb line
I have purchased this reel for myself and family over the past few years, we only use it in salt water and on light spinning gear, the line is of good quality, reel has no bearings but set the clutch and it handles some very nice bass up to double figures, good retrieve rate. I would recommend like with all reels to wash and oil them regularly.
The reel is very small adequate amount of line, i spin and ledger with up to a 2oz weight.
the screws eventually get rusted being in the salt water conditions but doesn't effect the performance, i fish every week on the estuary always carry 2 of these with me, you cant go wrong for the price even if you used them for a couple of seasons then renewed with new ones. I also have the 70 for beach casting and it works very well.
