Crosswords-a-plenty
This book is reasonably good value however there are quite a few printing errors and a copy which I had purchased some months ago (prior to my recent purchase for a friend) had a few pages inserted upside-down.
If you're prepared to overlook these faults, this book will keep you occupied for weeks to come.

RHODES SOUNDTRACK
Being a Blue Mink fan, I had followed each individual's solo careers with great interest.
Ex-Mink member Alan Parker has made the transition from session guitarist to film score composer with ease.
Parker's arrangements plus the performance of the orchestra are excellent throughout. The opening track "Rhodes Main Theme" is the most memorable although "Jo'burg Skyline" with Madeline Bell supplying vocals is not far behind.
In saying that, I would love Alan to pick up his guitar again, as he is definitely one of the most underrated guitarists in the country.
If you don't believe me take a listen to his playing on any Mink album plus Ugly Custard, Hurdy Gurdy Man, various library lps, CCS, etc etc
