compared to other valve caps these are much improved. these made of nicely machined aluminum and anodized, others are plastic. price wise. these are equal or better than the plastic

samsung 1050s

it doesnt fit easily into a shirt pocket but will fit a pant pocket well. nice feel to it; not so small as to fumble with it. the settings are convenient and not complicated. however the menu control pad can be a little irksome. camera is not suited to rapid shooting. the lcd screen is great. no viewfinder but not really necessary. generally a nice point and shoot camera with few undesirables. although marketed for the typical home photoist it is likely capable of doing much more than i will ever do. for the average tourist,family, keepsake type photography i'd recommend it. battery issues, well i am expecting it to burn AA's quickly but havent owned it long enough to really comment on it. read a lot about high drain digital cameras and think i'll buy the 2500 mah rechargables.
