Hz feature does not work.
3 of 3 found this helpful I've been using Snark tuners for a few years, now. When I broke the neck joint on my last one (that joint, by the way, is a weak point on this design) I bought two of the new 'Hz' model. It is supposed to display the exact frequency of the note in addition to the tuning meter. The regular tuning feature worked fine but when I activated the Hz button as directed it just flashed '00.0' for a few seconds. Both tuners did the same thing. I tried a different guitar and tried playing louder. I reread the directions. Nothing helped.
So I tried going to their website. My antivirus software went nuts when I tried to visit their site. Apparently the page is loaded with malware.
I'd say the new version of this product works about as well as the old one at a higher price. If you try to register the warranty or download the free chord book or complain about the product, etc, you do so at the risk of being infected with malware.
Snark, you used to be good! Clean up your act!
