Panasonic Desktop Dock Port Replicator for Toughbook CF-33 CF-VEB331U

A good dock, with some reservations

Buying this on Ebay saved me about 50% from retail price, so at about $150, I think it is a good value. At retail, no so much. Two things stand out as negatives. One, the USB ports do not charge. Second, there are only legacy serial ports and no DVI-D ports, so connectivity is limited. Other than that, I think it is a good port replicator.

A talented artist, but not my cuppa

I enjoy buying Mosaic's releases, some are great, some are okay. This one is okay. I never heard of Duke Pearson, but wanted to give it a try as I like keyboard artists. Pearson is very talented, but I didn't connect with much of his music. Just my opinion. Otherwise, the set is well put together with the Mosaic qualilty I have come to expect.

Best Version of the Hummel Concerti

I have listened to a number of recording of the Hummel Piano Concerti and this is the most dramatic and exciting performance I have heard to date. Steven Hough puts his mark on these with virtuoso playing. In my opinion, they sound much like Hummel himself would have played them.- not so classically, as the other performances, but leaning more toward the Romantic. I hope he gets to record the other 3 piano concertos.
