Could have been good, if they had tried.
5 of 6 found this helpful On the surface a great machine. Light, long battery life, good screen.
Only when you have lived with it for a while and you want to plug in some external equipment do you realise that the USB is very limited.
It may sync with a laptop, but that is about all it will do.
No keypad, no mouse, no memory stick, no camera, no speakers, no anything. Geting video onto the machine will be problematic. It doesn't like you to try playing your own vids.
Sound is quite tinny when at a volume above a whisper.
Rather dissappointing as a result.
When contacting Toshiba don't get annoyed when they ignore you completely. Probably because Toshiba UK don't recognise that this model exists, so no backup either.
There's plenty of other kit out there and I would advise that you seek it out.

At best adequate
9 of 18 found this helpful Purchased the camera and lens kit from Canon and liked it, at first, then I tried a days shooting out in the big wide world.
The exposure was not consistent. Even on continuous mode the exposure would vary to an excessive degree.
The reaction from Canon, I would have to find out if it is the lens or the body that was at fault (both from them and brand new) and send, at my cost, to a repair centre and dont forget to package it well and insure it.
Canon policy was that I could not get a refund as the camera was over 7 days
old.
Fortunately I know more about consumer law and after a quick e-mail I got my refund but will not be buying from them again with this sort of backup.
Caveat emptor.
