The Water Margin - Complete (DVD 2005)
This is exactly as I remembered it from watching it all those years ago on a Friday night on BBC2. Quality of the DVD's are good. Chinese sayings really make the programme. Watching one episode at a time is good but you do not get what the series is all about unless you watch the whole series as gives time for character development. I can't wait for my young son to be old enough to watch it. A word of warning, the subject matter is a little mature for really young viewers. Violent scenes are shown in typical kung fu fashion and so not really violent at all. A must see DVD collection. One for the boys and enough romance for female tom-boys to enjoy as well.
