Cherry 3.0 Keyboard
Got this to replace a nearly 30 year old board that came from the USA with my first desktop PC in the late 80s. Have tried several replacements before but wound up going back to my old Mitsumi. This Cherry is a worthy replacement. It is heavy and feels like quality workmanship. Keys have a good feel although I am used to keys with greater travel it was easy to adjust to these as they are are firm and responsive. This is an extended board with attached numeric pad and two "windows" keys. It comes with the usual media keys ; volume, mute, forward and rewind and pause/go. Numlock and caps lights are a nice blue and not too bright. This is an excellent choice for the regular user, but there are better (more expensive) choices for typists and gamers.

Cheap and you get what you pay for
Product appears to made of cheap plastic and does not feel substantial. It may work well but be aware the grub screws and posts are fragile, so it is all too easy to over tighten and strip the threads (as I did). The earth connection is very small for two wires and is isolated. If you you have a metal pattress you will need to earth that too. It appears the earth connection diameter problem is known to the manufacturer and the solution connector is supplied with the kit but a metal pattress would still not be earthed.
The product is cheap and you get what you pay for.
